Know Your Rights – HALO General Meeting

Join HALO and Jets for Life for a collaborative panel discussion and Q&A featuring immigration attorney Genesis Mercado-Arlas and Executive Director of Peoples Action Sulma Arias at 6:30 p.m. March 6 in the Bishop Gerber Science Center room 105. Refreshments and snacks will be provided, as well as Spanish translators if needed.
“Unity within the community is necessary during difficult times,” said HALO President Melissa Arguijo. “Students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members should attend because participation not only brings awareness to the issues affecting the immigrant community but also encourages you to be knowledgeable on how to protect yourself and your rights. The significance in attending displays your support in alliance with our marginalized communities.”
