Hamlet Performance
March 6 | 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Based on the well-known play by William Shakespeare, “Hamlet” follows a prince who questions his father’s untimely death and his mother’s rapid remarriage to his uncle. When the ghost of Hamlet’s father visits and reveals the identity of the murderer, Hamlet seeks to avenge his father’s death.
The show is directed by Newman’s Director of Theatre Mark Mannette with costumes designed by university instructor Christy Railsback.
“Shakespeare’s plays were meant to be performed, so seeing it in person is a good way to catch the complexity and enjoy the story,” Mannette said.
