Spike Out Cancer – In Support of Brooklyn Lane

One of our amazing students, Brooklyn Lane, was recently diagnosed with cancer, and the Newman student body has already started to come together to help raise money to ease some of the burden on her and her family!
On May 4th, starting at 6 PM, these students are hosting a volleyball tournament on campus, $50 per team of 8, in which every dollar will go towards helping with financial struggle of treatments. Other student groups will be cooking food that night to help raise money for the cause as well! If you are interested in playing, let me know and we can get you signed up through your donation on the GoFundMe page, send me a picture of your receipt with your team name and team members, and we will get you on our list of teams. If you do not wish to play, but are willing to make a donation, you can do so through the same link.
Battles against cancer are never fought alone, and they take up a lot of strength and emotion. The Newman community will not let Brooklyn fight this battle alone, for her fight is our fight!! Any and all donations are incredibly appreciated!
