Newman University’s Music Department is holding a Fall Classics Concert on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the DeMattias Perfomance Hall.
The Fall Classics Concert is an instrumental arrangement including band instruments, stringed instruments, and piano.
The set list will include classic songs, several which feature members of our ensemble.
- Stars and Stripes Forever by John Phillip Sousa featuring Tori Cooper on piccolo
- Straighten Up and Fly Right by Nat King Cole featuring percussionist Josh Baalmann on vocals
- Bugler’s Holiday by Leroy Anderson featuring the trumpet section (Brandi Boese, Andrea Feezor, David Baalmann and Charles Brooks)
- Many more!
Look out for some rockin’ tunes as the ensemble prepares to assemble the upcoming Pep Band.
The Fall Classics Concert is free and open to the public.
