Medical mission to Ecuador reaffirms student Blair Benton’s love of medicine, service

Newman University pre-med student Blair Benton took a recent journey to Guayaquil, Ecuador to serve the International Children’s Heart Foundation (ICHF), which was created to perform cardiac surgeries on children in need of competent medical care who wouldn’t normally have access to it.

Europe by rail

Eight Newman University students took a tour of Europe over the 2015 summer led by Associate Professor of History Kelly McFall, Ph.D. The trip gave students a first-hand look at historic and culturally significant places including stops in Vienna, Krakow, Berlin, Auschwitz, Prague, London and other points.
