Family Weekend, Oct. 23-25, begins with a block party on Friday, from 4:30-7 p.m. next to Wilkens Field on campus.
Block party attractions include music, a petting zoo, a caricature artist, a giant slide, giant tricycles, carnival games, a mechanical bull, Jay Jay the Jet bounce house, Elmo bounce house, a rock wall, a balloon artist, a make-your-own pixie stick booth and more. A dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
The weekend activities are free for all students, their family and guests except for the Fall Chorale Concert held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25 in St. John’s Chapel. Tickets for the concert are $5 and can be purchased at the door.
Family Weekend is sponsored by the Campus Activities Board, Residence Life, the Student Government Association and the Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC) Community Leader Scholars.
