Freshman and pre-med major Linnea Ristow will travel to Uganda this summer to work for “Empower a Child,” a non-profit ministry organization that helps impoverished families in Uganda and Kenya rebuild their communities and empower their youth. Ristow says she has found a passion in missionary work and is excited to take the first steps toward that goal.
