Newman University was blanketed with snow again this past weekend, and although students didn’t get the snow day they may have hoped for, they did take the opportunity to make (literally) a new friend.
One student decided to make a snowman on campus, and with a little work and a little help from friends, there was soon a giant, snowy figure watching over the quad. His tall and chilly existence was short-lived, however, as the next day he was in big snowy pieces on the ground under a marker that read “R.I.P.” While he was still with us, some photos of the snowman were picked up and posted on KAKE TV.
