You’re invited to join members of Newman University for a Habitat for Humanity volunteer day hosted by the Newman University Alumni Office.
From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, volunteers of the Newman community will come together to make a difference in the lives of a family in need by partnering with Habitat for Humanity.
According to its website, Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization present in all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries. Its vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live, and creates this reality for families in need of decent and affordable housing.
Pizza and drinks will be offered at 1:30 p.m. on campus in the Newman Tarcisia Roths Alumni Center following the volunteer event.
Volunteers must be 16 years or older to participate. Full details of the volunteer day are included in the RSVP form. Please submit your RSVP by Saturday, Sept. 24.
