Harris Connect launched the data verification phase of its Newman University Alumni Directory project this week. Alumni should expect to receive a postcard and series of e-mails that outline steps for participation.
A dedicated toll-free phone line and personal identification number will be provided to each alum, so that participation can be at a time most convenient for them. “Our most recent directory was published in 2005. This edition will include photos and personal messages from alumni who choose to submit them,” said Director of Alumni Relations Ann Fox.
The National Alumni Association, as a result of Harris Connect’s research support, hopes to relocate as many as 3,000 alumni whose contact information has been lost. There is no cost to be listed in the directory, and Harris will respect requests to limit some or all of the information submitted. The publication will be issued by July 2010 and will be available only through pre-orders to 800-971-5542. In addition, alumni are asked to not confuse the Harris Connect directory with the current Phonathon calls, as they are two separate projects.
