Newman campus is lively with holiday spirit

Many festive holiday happenings have taken place in the past few weeks at Newman, from Christmas tree decorating to a campus-wide service day.

As students and faculty close out finals week and staff members finish their final projects before break, we hope you enjoy a highlight reel of moments together — shared in holiday spirit.

As is tradition, the student chorale ended its Sunday performance by singing in the De Mattias Atrium together with attendees.

Campus-wide service Day

On Monday, Dec. 4, a campus-wide service day was held. In total, Newman students, faculty and staff:

  • Donated and signed 500 Christmas cards
  • Donated and labeled 109 pairs of gloves for The Lord’s Diner
  • Decorated Harbor House
  • Cleaned campus spaces
  • Entertained the ASC sisters with Christmas carols
