At its first appearance in NU history at the NCAA Tournament, the Jets Men’s Basketball Team ended its season with a loss against Midwestern State University on March 16 in Denver, Colo. The tournament game seemed evenly matched with the score at 39-38 with 16:16 left in the half until Midwestern State went on a 31-8 run ahead of the Jets. Newman attempted to come back but was unable to gain the points needed. The game ended at 81-60 Midwestern. Read more on the NU Athletics website.
