Newman University awarded Marilyn and John Dugan, center, the Cardinal Newman Medal at a Feb. 27 banquet and awards ceremony. The medal is the university’s highest honor, and is conferred upon those who demonstrate an appreciation of the spirit and ideals of John Henry Cardinal Newman, for whom Newman University is named, and who have been instrumental in the growth and development of the university.
