The Newman University Women’s Basketball Team will tip off its season with an exhibition game against Wichita State University. The game will take place at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2 in the Charles Koch Arena, the Shockers home court.
The Newman Athletic Department offers a discounted price for Newman students. Tickets will be sold at $5 each with Newman ID instead of the regular $8 for general admission. Come out and show your Newman pride by cheering on the Jets!
The second exhibition game that the Lady Jets will play will occur at 7 p.m. on Nov. 10 against Kansas State University, in Manhattan. The women’s basketball regular season begins with a 7 p.m. game on Nov. 14 against Bethel College, in Fugate Gymnasium.
