Newman University will present The LEAD Series with Diana Crook, M.D. at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24 in the Dugan-Gorges Conference Center.
The LEAD Series is a lecture series that was developed in 2014 by Director of Student Activities Lauren Fontarum. Each event features key leaders in the community. The theme for the 2016-17 academic year is “Women in Leadership.”
Crook is a 1985 Newman graduate currently practicing family medicine at LakePoint Family Physicians in Wichita. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Society of Sedgwick County and the American Academy of Fertility Care Professionals.
During January’s event, Crook will focus on three key topics: “Doing It All,” “Being a Student-Athlete,” and “Breaking into Medicine.”
