Thanks to the massive participation of everyone in our social media community, the opening band for the Newman University hosted Christian concert has been decided! Wichita local band Aviator Worship has been selected as the openers to the upcoming concert featuring Rush of Fools.
Newman University left the decision up to the community to decide what band will open by starting a poll originally on Facebook and then sharing among our multiple social media avenues. In total, the poll received more than 1,100 votes and was shared more than 120 times on Facebook.
Aviator Worship, originally started in Derby Kan., was created from the worship ministry at Aviator Church in Wichita. It consists of a group of musicians, technical professionals and music writers.
