Congratulations to the Jets Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country teams for their strong finishes at 2009 Heartland Conference Championships Saturday in Dallas.
The Women placed 3rd and the Men placed 2nd. Four NU runners were named first team All-Conference. Results: Melissa Ortiz, 3rd place, Chris Taylor, 2nd; Austin Hunt, 4th; Nick Abbott, 8th.
