Newman University will present, “South Korea: Providing Shelter for Migrant Wives”, presented by Sister Bernardine Wessel, ASC, the second lecture in the 2015-2016 series of Mission Talks. The event will take place noon, Wednesday, Nov. 4 in the Tarcisia Roths, ASC Alumni Center, located on the second floor of the Dugan Library and Campus Center on the Newman campus.
The event is free and open to the public. A complimentary buffet lunch will be provided to attendees that RSVP to Charlotte Rohrbach, ASC at [email protected] or call 316-942-4291, ext. 2167 no later than Monday, Nov. 2.
Attendees are encouraged to come early or stay late to see the display in the area just outside of the Alumni Center. The Heritage Room in Sacred Heart Hall will have a larger display for viewing.
The theme of this year’s Mission Talks is social justice in ASC ministries around the world. The second ‘Mission Talk’ specifically deals with migrant wives in South Korea.
