The Newman University Student Athlete Advisory Committee is hosting a Christmas Drop and Shop this Saturday, Dec. 10, in the Dugan-Gorges Conference Center inside the Dugan Library and Campus Center. The purpose of the Drop and Shop is to provide an opportunity for children to interact with NU student-athletes through sports and board games, and to give parents an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming holidays with time to shop. The earliest parents can drop off their children is 9 a.m. with pickup no later than 2 p.m. The cost of attendance is $10 per child and all proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
