Newman University will present the Spring 2013 “Career Fair” from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on April 2 in the Dugan-Gorges Conference Center on the Newman campus. Any businesses considering exhibiting at the Career Fair can register online or visit the Newman website for more information. There will also be other opportunities to connect with students, including a Social Mixer scheduled on April 11.
The Career Fair is a great opportunity for students to research career fields, learn more about employers and available positions, expand their network of contacts, and increase their chances for an interview. Newman plans to schedule several events or workshops to assist with resumes, interviewing skills, and other employment topics prior to the fair.
