On April 17, Newman will host the first of three workshops for the Professional Development Lunch and Learn Series. The workshop is entitled “Active Listening – Techniques for Enhancing Workplace Relationships.” The speaker for the event will be Deanna Polly-Faulkner of Shelter Insurance. The event will take place Thursday, April 17 at noon in the Tarcisia Roths ASC Alumni Center.
Professional development is a wide-ranging term that applies to activities and opportunities that enhance one’s performance, satisfaction and status within the workplace. This series will provide opportunities to develop and grow both personally and professionally. Those interested are invited to bring a lunch, network and add new skills to their toolboxes.
