Newman University students may call alumni as early as Monday as part of the annual Newman Fund Phonathon. The six-week campaign begins on Feb. 7 and will run each Monday through Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., through March 17. Students will call alumni and ask that they make a gift to the Newman Fund, which assists Newman students with scholarships. The goal for this year’s campaign is $15,000.
“A gift of any amount helps get us to the goal,” said Director of Development Molly Fox. “Participation is what really matters. When you make even a modest gift it gives the students the courage to make another call.”
