Newman to present fall choral concert “A Chorus Celebration”

The Newman University Chorale and Troubadours will present their first concert of the year at 3 p.m. Oct. 28 in St. John’s Chapel on the Newman campus. The Newman Chorale and Troubadours are celebrating some of the most famous choruses in choral literature. They will be performing choruses from Handel’s The Creation and The Messiah, Beethoven’s The Mount of Olives, Mozart’s Requiem, Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Gondoliers and Randall Thompson’s Alleluia.

Admission for the concert is $5. Tickets will be available at the door. NU students can get in free with a Newman I.D. For more information visit Newman’s online campus calendar.
