The American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Wichita recognized creative excellence in the area during the 2011 ADDY awards event held Feb. 18. Newman University’s current television commercials received the bronze in the television local campaign category.
Newman’s University Relations Department worked with Susan Bowers of Media Partners, Inc.; Doug Janzen, local creative writer; and Intake Studio in Wichita to produce the two 30-second spots. The Wichita Business Journal reported that 183 entries were submitted this year, of which 19 were honored with gold, 103 with silver and 50 with bronze awards. Read the full list of winners.
