The Newman University School of Social Work honored Spring and Summer 2013 graduates of the Master of Social Work program with a pinning ceremony held May 3, 2013 on the Newman campus.
Associate Professor of Social Work Sue Gardner, Ph.D. placed a pin on graduating MSW students’ lapels as recognition of their achievements. The event also included the induction of new members to Pi Gamma Mu, the international social sciences honor society, and new members to Phi Alpha, the national social work honor society. Gardner and Assistant Professor of Social Work Gloria Hegge, Ph.D. also presented awards to selected students.
