Newman University raises $3,000 for Women’s Initiative Network

Members of the Newman University Staff Assembly Silent Auction Committee met with staff and participants from the Wichita Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) May 2 to present a check for $3,012. The money was raised through the Staff Assembly’s 12th annual Silent Auction, held April 8.

WIN, an organization sponsored by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC) that provides support for and teaches social, educational and general life skills to victims of domestic abuse, was selected as a beneficiary of this year’s auction. The organization is supported through the sale of products made by the women of WIN.
