The broadcast, from 6 to 9 a.m., featured interviews with Scooter’s own Tolli Rasmussen, as well as segments featuring Newman President Noreen M. Carrocci, Ph.D., Admissions Counselors Rebekah Valentine and Allison Woods, and Sports Information Director Tim Hanson. Rasmussen said the broadcast drew a large crowd – Newman cheer and dance team members and several other Newman students stopped by around 6 a.m., and approximately 65 people were in Scooter’s at 7:30, the time the coffeehouse usually opens.

The live remote broadcast drew a crowd to Scooter's Coffeehouse early on Nov. 8.
