Newman University is a sponsor of a four-part documentary program called “Catholicism,” which will air on KPTS Channel 8 in January. Created by Fr. Robert Barron, a priest in the Archdiocese of Chicago, the program uses the art, architecture, literature, music, history and other elements of the Catholic tradition to illuminate what Catholics believe and why. The series will be broadcast from 7-8 p.m. each Thursday throughout the month, beginning Jan. 5. All Seasons Construction, Sacred Heart Gifts, and The Diocese of Wichita are also a sponsors of this program.
