The Newman University Music Department will present its spring musical “Seasons of Love” at 7:30 p.m., May 1 through 3 in Performance Hall, inside the De Mattias Fine Arts Center on the Newman campus.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for students and free for Newman students with student ID. Tickets will be available at 6:45 p.m. at the door each evening.
“Seasons of Love” will follow the stories of four different couples in different stages of their relationships through an entire year.
“As always, this show will be a high energy, entertaining show with a great mix of Broadway, pop/rock and dance numbers,” said Newman Director of Music Deanne Zogleman.
The cast for the show will be comprised of the entire Newman University Chorale and the Troubadours, Newman’s select singing ensemble. A total of 70 students will be on stage at various times in the performance.
“This is my favorite time of year in our department, and I love designing these shows every year,” Zogleman said. “I am so blessed with so much talent and hard-working students, and there isn’t any way that an audience member won’t have fun and be thoroughly entertained at this show.”
