Newman University in Dodge City is hosting a series of open houses in western Kansas communities in the coming weeks. The open houses are planned to allow interested students the opportunity to get their questions answered by representatives in admissions, advising and financial aid. Three open houses are planned, one each in Garden City, Dodge City and Liberal.
The events are designed to help interested transfer students and adult learners learn more about completing a four-year degree. The open houses will be held in the following locations:
- Wednesday, March 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 pm. in the Academic Building at Garden City Community College, 801 Campus Drive, Garden City, Kan.;
- Tuesday, March 19, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Newman University Western Kansas Center, 236 San Jose, Dodge City, Kan.
- Wednesday, March 20, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Seward County Community College Library at 1801 N. Kansas, Liberal, Kan.
Newman University offers more than 10 degree options through the Western Kansas Center plus additional program options are available online. Classes are offered either face-to-face, online or via interactive television.
