Newman University will introduce the new Jets mascot with a surprise entrance during halftime of the 7 p.m. women’s soccer game against the Ottawa University Braves on Monday, Sept. 27 at Wilkins Field on the Newman campus. Face-painting and tailgating will take place before the game, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The winner of the mascot naming contest and recipient of an Apple iPad will be announced before the game during the tailgate party.
