Last week’s episode of Newman360Five, the Newman University student led web series, was an episode worth taking another look at.
The episode features coverage of one of the university’s newest clubs, the Newman University Gardening Club. The Gardening Club is lead by junior science majors Ruben Lerma and Alec Hampton, who are both featured in the episode. Viewers got a first-hand look and experience of the Gardening Club’s most recent event, a painting, planting, and potting event where students got to decorate potted plants and then take them home.
Following the club footage is a segment on Newman360Five known as the “Student Spotlight.” This particular spotlight showcases junior communications major and basketball player Daniel Nwosu. Nwosu shares with the world his passion and talent for spoken word poetry.
