Newman University 2014 graduate Kelsey Sponsel is blogging during a summer health care internship in India. Sponsel is now in the occupational therapy graduate program at the University of Kansas. She and other OT students are in India to observe and help in clinics and hospitals in the country.
The blog includes Sponsel’s observations and comments on her experiences in health care facilities, as well as descriptions and thoughts about the Indian culture. She began her trip to India on May 29, and will continue through the month of June.
Sponsel is the daughter of Newman Associate Professor of Mathematics Barbara Sponsel, Ph.D.
