May 2009 Newman graduate Katie Grelinger recently contacted members of the Science Department to say how well-prepared she and other NU alums are thanks to Newman professors. She said that Jacob Baalman, Nathan Norris, Betsy Simison and herself, all previous Newman pre-med students, were studying hard and enjoying their time at the KU Medical School.
