Newman University will host the 14th Annual Silent Auction on April 11 staged by Staff Assembly. The auction will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Mabee Dining Center. The proceeds benefit the Staff Assembly Hearts & Hands fund. This fund was established to provide a monetary gift to staff members who may be in crisis or experiencing some particular difficulty in their lives.
Funds raised above the amount required to replenish the Hearts & Hands fund will go to WIN (Wichita Women’s Initiative Network, Inc.) WIN is help and hope for survivors of domestic violence. WIN, an organization sponsored by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC) provides support for and teaches social, educational, and general life skills to victims of domestic abuse.
