The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology has awarded the Newman University School of Nursing and Allied Health a reaccreditation of eight years — the maximum amount of time given to a program.

Receiving accreditation ensures the program and university uphold the highest standards. Students are assured they will receive the best education in the radiologic sciences and will be eligible for licensure in all 50 states.

The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology is the only agency, in the radiologic science field, that is recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Director of Radiologic Technology Megan Rucker said, “Achieving a maximum award of eight years is the gold seal, ensuring the high-quality education in Radiologic Technology offered at Newman University. We are deeply appreciative of the long-standing relationships we have with healthcare facilities that allow for the high-quality clinical education students receive.”
