Newman University will offer an open house from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 for its School of Catholic Studies and the School of Arts and Sciences.

The event is free and open to first-time, transfer or graduate students interested in learning more about the variety and level of degrees offered in each of the two schools at Newman.

The open house will help give prospective students and their families a chance to get to know Newman University’s mission, academic community and campus offerings.

Those interested can arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. to check-in at the Dugan Library and Student Center.

Campus tours will be provided at that time to those who are interested and attendees can enjoy dinner at 5 p.m. in the Mabee Dining Center.

A welcome session will begin at 6 p.m. followed by faculty and program introductions and a student Q&A panel.

Breakout sessions start at 7 p.m. with faculty from each level of academics and major in attendance to answer questions as needed.
