One of the best ways to support Newman University students (aside from giving) is to participate in activities created by them.

Members of the Wichita community will have three opportunities to attend one-act plays led by students during the Out of the Box Play Festival April 4-6 at Newman University.

Hadassah Umbarger, administrative assistant for arts and humanities, said she has seen the progress of all three student productions and “I can already tell that their hard work is going to pay off.”

“I know that the second the show starts, it’s going to be so gratifying to see all that these seniors have learned and implemented culminate in these shows,” Umbarger said. “I’m so proud of them. Plus, for the public, buying a ticket for one show gives you a free pass to the others, and of course, each show is free for NU students.”

Tickets for shows can be purchased online or at the door. Those who purchase a ticket for one show may watch the other show for free.
