Newman University will host a citywide evening of Eucharistic Adoration service and street dance on Sunday, Sept. 13.
Several hundred people are expected to attend the event, which is sponsored by Newman University Campus Ministries and Wichita Adore Ministries. All are invited to 7 p.m. Mass in St John’s Chapel or to join the group at the Marian grotto outside of Sacred Heart Hall following Mass.
Adoration will begin with a procession from the chapel and move outside toward the grotto. Adoration and Confessions will continue for an hour and will be followed by Benediction and Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
After Adoration, organizers will hold a street dance in the Newman parking lot just west of the grotto.
