Sonja Bontrager, professor of Spanish, had the honor of announcing the students’ names as they walked across the stage to accept their diplomas. This was the first time she had that responsibility.
ASC sister graduates with master’s in social work
In less than five years, Sister Bo Hui Kang, ASC, converted to Catholicism, took her final vows as an Adorer of the Blood of Christ, moved more than 6,500 miles to Wichita and graduated with her master’s in social work from Newman University.
For Kang, this is only the beginning of her story.
