Scholarship recipients, sponsors meet for luncheon April 7

Approximately 100 people gathered in the Dugan-Gorges Conference Center on April 7 for the 2014 Scholarship Luncheon. The annual event gives scholarship recipients and their respective scholarship donors an opportunity to meet, enjoy lunch and get to know each other.

The event also featured remarks by Newman President Noreen M. Carrocci, Ph.D., scholarship recipients Elizabeth Peuchen, Chase Blasi and Joshua Baalmann, and The Jose & Petra Armendariz Scholarship sponsors Veronica (Armendariz) Johnston ’82 and Newman Vice President for University Advancement J.V. Johnston ’82.
