Sept. 1 will mark the first Mass of the school year at Newman University. The Mass of the Holy Spirit will be at 11 a.m. on Sept. 1 in St. John’s Chapel. The Mass will also include a ceremony featuring Charlotte Rohrbach, ASC. To mark the 50th anniversary of the profession of her vows as an Adorer of the Blood of Christ, Sr. Charlotte will re-profess her vows. The Most Rev. Michael O. Jackels, bishop of the Diocese of Wichita, will also bless the renovated grotto during Mass. A campus-wide picnic will follow.
