Newman University Staff Assembly’s 15th Annual Silent Auction took place on Friday, April 17, 2015. To date, more than $2,300 has been collected from bid donations.
The proceeds from the auction will replenish the Hearts and Hands fund to $2,000 and the remainder will be donated to the Wichita Circles Network – Delano Site.
The People’s Choice Award for department baskets went to the Nursing and Health Sciences Department.
Newman University Director of Nursing Teresa Vetter, M.S.N. was the high bidder for the Advancement Department basket that held the surprise Ben Franklin $100 bill that was contributed by Newman University President Noreen M. Carrocci, Ph.D.
The Newman University Staff Assembly would like to thank everyone for participating in this year’s auction and looks forward to staging the auction again next year.
