The Newman Campus Activities Board (CAB) is hosting its annual Spring Fling from 2 to 5 p.m on Saturday, April 22. The event will take place on the plaza located on the south side of De Mattias Fine Arts Center directly in front of the Gorges Atrium. The Spring Fling is free and open to students and their families, as well as faculty and staff.
Graduate Assistant for Student Life and Intramurals at Newman University Megan Hemel said, “This is a popular annual event that CAB hosts, it has always been one of our most attended events of the year! Unfortunately, sometimes we get rained out, but we are praying for clear skies!”
The event includes an inflatable obstacle course, zip line, a DJ, face painting, live music, and more. There will also be free giveaways and prizes.
Hemel expressed, “Finals [week] is such a stressful time, so we love creating a fun and relaxing environment for our students and their families to have a good time!”
