From wearable art to meticulous drawings and mixed media works, Steckline Gallery’s newest exhibition captures each participating student artist’s individuality and creative growth.
Steckline Gallery will present “Amalgamation,” a group exhibition by several Newman University students, from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 2.
The First Friday reception is free and open to the public. The exhibition will be on display May 2-23.
Director of the Steckline Gallery Emily Ritter said she hopes many can make it to the opening reception to support Newman students.
“Individually and collectively, the pieces present an energetic snapshot of new artistic voices and celebrate the culmination of their academic endeavors from the academic year,” Ritter said. “Come check out their fantastic artwork and let’s celebrate all the hard work they put in over the last academic year.”
