During the last several weeks, the Student Association of Social Work (SASW) has been collecting suitcases, backpacks and other bags for kids in foster care who many times have nothing but trash bags to carry their clothes in. President of SASW Brenna Audley along with Treasurer Katherine Medow lead the bag drive and overall collected more than 100 bags for the cause.

“We met our goal but more importantly really helped these kids in need,” Audley said.

The bags collected from the project have been donated to St. Francis Community Services where they will be distributed to children in need.
