Newman University student Jeremy Gant is the subject of this month’s “On Campus,” an online program produced by the NCAA that features personal stories of student-athletes across the nation. Gant, a member of the Newman men’s golf team, learned that he had a life-threatening heart condition that required a transplant. The NCAA video chronicles Gant’s physical, emotional and spiritual journey through the process. Gant will return to Newman this fall as a senior.
