The 2015-16 Student Government Association elections are underway. Voting for the new SGA president and vice-president began April 16 and runs to April 19.
Students will vote online for SGA president/vice president and on an increase in the student activity fee of $50 per semester, for full membership to any Genesis Health Club in Kansas. Also included in the membership will be an exclusive Skate Night at the Wichita Ice Center and free tickets to selected Wichita Thunder hockey games.
The new president and vice president will begin their term at the final SGA meeting of the year on May 5.
Candidates Brandon Gollhofer and Brandi Boese and Wesley Williams and Mary O’Neal recorded a video message for all students to view.
24 SGA senator spots are currently open. The deadline for students to sign up is noon, April 24. Senate elections will be online from April 27 to 29. Results will be announced May 1. The new senate members swill start their term of office at the last SGA meeting of the year on Tuesday, May 5.
