Newman grad gets newlywed gift — Angie Albright and her husband, Brent, met Pope Francis at the end of his Wednesday audience, May 20, at the Vatican. Angie recently graduated from Newman University with a master of theology degree and was in Rome with other graduates of the program. She and her husband were able to sit in a special section and meet the pope because she wrote for and received “sposi noveli” tickets for newlyweds. Pope Francis asked them to pray for him.
