The Newman community was excited to hear basketball making the Division II national tournament for the first time. To add to the excitement, the first game Newman will play is against Midwestern State University, where NU Athletics Director Vic Trilli played basketball in 1974 and 75. This also is where his son, Jon Trilli, played and is currently a MSU graduate assistant. Read more on the Times Record News website.
